amperSAND is closely associated with the annual international animation and CG conference event SAND (Swansea Animation Days), linked through its aims and function to engender innovative ideas, business collaboration and the convergence of digital technologies.

Both events are initiated and organised by Swansea Metropolitan University's School of Digital Media, who run a raft of programmes in computer animation, creative computer games design, multimedia, interactive media and music technology from HND, BA, BSc to Masters level.

Swansea Metropolitan University would like to thank all our presenters, sponsors, mentors and delegates for their overwhelming support and avid interest in the digital visualisation sector. Together, they have made the last nine conference events wonderfully vibrant and relevant to the global discourse and we look forward to working with them to create SAND 2010.
